The newly developed step controller from Frostechnic utilises the very latest 'embedded control' technology. A board mounted bit switch enables the user to configure the controller to suit the particular application. A dead zone switching input is provided to enable the staging in of up to eight devices to offer the user a very versatile and reliable sequential control unit, for most applications. The unit includes the facility to alter the interval time ranges, pre selected by board mounted bit switches swa and swb. Operation of the controller can be switched to invert the 'output switching sequence', enabling a differing array of control. The unit is manufactured on toughened 'fibre glass' p.c.b., enclosed in 'series 2000' extruded din rail casing. Full software support is included with each unit alterations and program updates can be carried out with ease due to the units interchangeable program IC, 'ic2'. Control of compressors, condenser or ventilation fans can be achieved via devices such as Eliwell E.W.P.C. 905 These time ranges can be calibrated to suit, by means of the board mounted up/down potentiometers, rv1 and rv2.
